I had an overnight layover and was looking to get some proper rest before my Cathay Pacific First Class flight to ORD. I booked this Marriott for ~150 USD which didn’t seem to bad. While not attached to the airport there is a free shuttle that runs every half hour that drives the shirt drive between the airport and the hotel.
I was checked in and informed I was upgraded to a suite on the 15th floor. The room opened up to a hallway leading to the living area with a half bath to the left.
The living area was large and had some fresh fruit on the coffee table.
To the left of the living area was the bedroom.
The bathroom was nicely appointed with a separate shower stall and tub.
I went straight to bed as it was almost midnight. Upon waking up the next morning I skipped the lounge and went straight to the hotel restaurant which was included in the account of my Titanium status. The buffet was pretty extensive for a breakfast buffet. I let the pictures speak for them selves.
Not pictured was a separate juice area as well. The server asked if I’d like any coffee and brought over a carafe.
I had to sign for the bill even thought it was complimentary. I would say I “saved” ~32 USD as I wouldn’t have likely paid for this buffet on my own. However, the food was good and I appreciate a good breakfast!
The Hong Kong Sky City Marriott is a nice hotel if you need a night near the airport. This location is also near-ish Disneyland as well.
