Alaska Airlines has been expanding their lounge footprint and updating their lounges. Previously the locations were called boardrooms and had a older look to them. The new locations have a modern Pacific Northwest look and feel.
The LAX location is part of Priority Pass but is notorious for not admitting members due to crowding which was also the case today. I was quickly admitted by having a Alaska Club membership (First Class tickets also come with access).
The lounge is pretty small and consist of one seating area and a bar area. The seating area has cubical seating and tables for working or eating.
There is also a small buffet next to the seating area with a soda fountain, soup, and salad.
The bar area which isn’t pictured due to crowding was pretty basic. However, with the remodel the bar tenders now make espresso drinks which is nice.
Not much to say here as this is a pretty standard domestic lounge with the food and drink you’d expect. Due to the small size the lounge does tend to get crowded at times. However, this lounge remains a solid option at LAX.
